Catania (Cittadella Universitaria - Facolta' di Ingegneria) Palermo (Università Degli Studi di Palermo - Facoltà di Ingegneria - Class room F100 and F110) The School consists of three one-week Modules, each one dealing with a specific aspect of Scientific Computation and MATLAB:
• the first Module is an Introductory Module on the Basics of Scientific Computation and MATLAB;
• the second Module is mainly focused on MPI programming and High Performance and Grid Computing in general;
• the third Module is devoted to the description of how MATLAB implements High Performance and Grid Computing. All the Modules are taught by either The MathWorks’ tutors or teachers from the University of Palermo or the COMETA Consortium.  The ICT 2010 conference will take place in Brussels on 27-29 September 2010. ICT 2010 is organised by the European Commission and hosted by the Belgian Presidency of the European Union. Around 4.500 participants are expected to attend this event. This year we would like to strengthen the participation of young researchers, following the successful experience of ICT 2008 where they were played the role of reporters for the sessions. Your project is likely to have, amongst its participants, academies and research centres which are employing young researchers as well as doctoral and postdoctoral students. |
